Upstate Carolina Medical Center's post intensive care unit has 32
telemetry monitored beds. This unit provides constant observation and
continuous monitoring for patients who meet admission criteria. The unit
has the capability in personnel, physician support, and equipment to care
for a variety of acutely ill patients that require cardiac monitoring.
