Industrial Medicine Departments we are achieving this goal.
The Managed Care Department at Upstate Carolina Medical Center contracts with all the major insurers, HMOs, and PPOs for participation in commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid health plans and contracts directly with local employers and TPAs for the ERISA benefit plans and worker's compensation services. Through these agreements, Upstate Carolina Medical Center is delivering quality, cost-effective care to our employers and community. Through the Managed Care Department you can receive information regarding available contracted payers, obtain advice regarding the selection of group health and worker's compensation carriers, or seek assistance resolving issues with insurance carriers.
