The kitchen staff at Upstate Carolina Medical Center made a $225 donation to the Cherokee County Children’s Home Thursday, Jan. 3, as part of their giving back to the community activities during the Christmas Holidays. Receiving the money was the home’s Director of Development Judy Nix and Executive Director Susan Harris. "I was pleasantly surprised when the staff came to me about this," the hospital’s Assistant Administrator Austin Brown said. "The folks in the kitchen have such a big heart—in addition to being great cooks."
