Christmas Pillows for Patients

To raise the spirits of patients in the hospital, the volunteers at Upstate Carolina Medical Center gave each patient a Christmas-themed pillow on Friday, Dec. 21. Each year, the volunteers give the patients a gift for Christmas. They also give gifts at other major holidays. This is just one of the many ways that the volunteers contribute to the wellbeing and health of the community. The pillows were distributed after the volunteers’ Christmas luncheon. Mary Bolinger and Becky Jefferies were among the many volunteers who helped with the pillow project.
