Hospital to Host Business After Hours
Prepared by: Steve Wong Upstate Carolina Medical Center Marketing Phone 864-487-1515 Upstate Carolina Medical Center will host Business After Hours Thursday, Nov. 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m., as part of its grand opening of the hospital’s new Outpatient Center. All members of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce are invited to this social and business networking opportunity at the hospital in Gaffney. The event will start with guest speakers and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by refreshments and an open house. Guests will get the first look at the 13,000-square-foot facility that will become the new entrance for all patients needing outpatient services. Designed to be patient friendly and to improve patient flow through-out the building, the center features a new lobby, registration desks, a same-day surgery department, an additional operating room, two minor procedure/endoscopy rooms, and new mammography equipment and services. The center costs $3.6 million. On Friday, Nov. 16, the public will be invited to tour the Outpatient Center 9 a.m.- 1p.m. For more information, please call 487-1515. |
