Breast Cancer Seminar Offered at Library
Prepared by: Steve Wong Upstate Carolina Medical Center Marketing Phone 864-487-1515 Upstate Carolina Medical Center will present a free community seminar—HealthTalk—on breast cancer, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Gaffney Public Library on Rutledge Avenue. The guest speaker will be general surgeon Maureen Burdett, M.D. The public is invited to attend this free seminar. A light meal will be served. This will be a general discussion about breast cancer, which will include information about the latest technologies now being introduced to the local community. This public awareness event was coordinated by Upstate Carolina, the American Cancer Society and the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.
