Photo Cafeteria

The hospital cafeteria, located on the first floor across from the Nursery, welcomes visitors. Hours of service are: Breakfast 7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Pastoral Care and Chapel

As members of the healing team, a group of chaplains provide pastoral services on a regular basis. You may request a chaplain through your nurse. Upon request, the chaplain will gladly call a clergy member of your choice. A quiet place where you can meditate and pray is provided in the Chapel on the first floor, near the main lobby.

Gift Shop

The hospital gift shop, Gifts Galore, is located just inside the main entrance to the hospital. It is operated by the hospital’s Volunteer Auxiliary. General operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. However, the hours sometimes vary. Call the Information Desk at 864.487.1565 to check on shop hours.

Guest Trays

Guest meals are available to family members at a cost of $2.50 per meal. Please make your request at the nurses’ station at least one hour before meals are to be served. A guest tray is provided to each pediatric patient at no charge.

Lost and Found

While we cannot be responsible for lost personal items, every effort is made to locate missing property. Lost and found services are maintained in the Administrative Office for items such as jewelry or money found in the hospital or on the grounds. Items lost by patients are initially stored at the nursing stations, and eventually turned in to Administration.

Mail and Flowers

Any mail or flowers arriving for you will be delivered to your room. Mail received after you have been discharged will be forwarded to your home address. Flowers arriving after your discharge will be returned to the florist. If you wish to send mail from the hospital, a Unit Secretary or Volunteer will assist you. For your convenience, stamps are available in the hospital’s gift shop. A mail box is located outside the main entrance to the hospital.
